I NEED FREE DOWNLOADABLE WAV MUSIC... And it's gotta be 1920s silent music type music or perhaps much more betterz 1920s jazz loops.
Any ideas as to where i can find em? Prefferably free to downloadable, cause i really just need it as a loop to use in a mini film. Any help will be much appreaciated!!! Ta. No hablo espanol,no!

I think I may be able to point you in the right direction. I have various sample sites bookmarked, some of which have very extensive libraries of loops for download. I know one of them has plenty of old jazz loops. Sadly, I can't remember any site names now, and all the bookmarks are on my home PC. I'm currently at work, but when I get home I'll look them up and post here.
In the meantime you could go to the SoundForge and Syntrilium sites, I'm not sure if they have any samples on those sites but they do have links to affiliate loop sites. Also, it may be considered "wrong forum" but you'd probably get some helpful responses in the Artists Community forum. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

There's some jazz loops here : http://mediasoftware.sony...D=172&ms=1 but I've no idea what they're like
The loop library ( http://www.looplibrary.com ) is good but each loop costs $0.05 and there's a minimum spend of $5 Twidly bits : http://www.proaudiomusic....s/jazz.htm isn't free but when the page loads it loads an audio file of various samples that might be of some use to you (you'll find the downloaded file in your temporary internet files folder - called vol9, it's a midi file so you'll need to convert it.) Also, I know you don't want to spend money but the product they're selling looks really good. Loopasonic : http://www.users.globalne...k/~spufus/ and Looperman : http://www.looperman.com/ are two very good samples sites but I don't think you'll find much in the way of jazz samples. This : http://www.asterick.com/s...links.html is a pretty good samples links page - you might find something of interest here. I would say this is probably your best bet. Other suggestions : Cheat! - get some jazz from a music download site and create your own loops from them (You'll have a much better chance of finding the exact sort of thing you're looking for on a music dowload site anyway). or checkout some online cd shops and grab some samples there or bite the bullet and go out and buy some old jazz cd's. I know they're really cheap - you'll pick one up for 2 or 3 $/£/€ Well, I hope something there is of use to you. Good luck ! Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.
