Hi! I'm a huge GM fan too, I'm from Denmark, and yeah its unfair it only will be realsed in UK, but I'm sure that some music-stores in Denmark can order that single home, (FREEEK, That is!, FAB song!) .. Later on people can probably buy the single over the internet (ebay.com / Amazon.co.uk ) As you might know GM aren't that famous in the USA anymore as he used too, after his days with Wham! and right after FAITH, usa kinda got tired of him.. lol, no I'm kidding, but he is not that famous in USA as In Europe.
The Last news is that meanwhile GM was in LA there was a robbery in his house in London, got stolen his car and about £200.000.. Thats sad! but soon his single which hopefully becomes to an album will be realsed soon!

i'm a huge GM fan. video premier is on channel 4 on wednesday after 'sex and the city'. i'll tell u all about.

i saw a short clip and george seems 2 have on a rather bizarre red ensemble. i'm curious 2 c the video-apparently it is the most expensive video universal(his label) have made. any1 know if he's got an album coming out (no pun intended)?

The single would had been realsed the 28th Jan but now its 18march, I dont know why he moved it to that date ..
Anyway.. I'm sure I'll be the first to get his album, that is if he will realse an album which I'm pretty sure he will in the future.. sooner or later! But I'm sure that that single FREEEK, will be a start for the album!

It's interesting how some albums are not released in America,or are released in Europe first,even if it's an American artist! from what i understand, george has done a 'prince' and signed a deal 4 only 1 album with polydor. he is going 2 release the song over here first and if it does well they may release it in america.

ok sounds fair enough, as long as the album also will be realsed in Denmark or at least scandinavia! Or europe.. I'm sure GM will do well. c'mon he is great, and everybody loves him.. its like Elton John, everybody just likes him, you dont have to be a fan but he is alright.. I think its the same with GM.. everybody likes him.. of course not those who have a problem with gays..

George is cool. I have to be one of about five straight male american fans ! I've seen George in concert twice, and he puts on a helluva show! It's unfortunate that this disc isn't getting a US release. I guess I'll just have to shell out the extra $ for the import!

DraQzi: Thanks! That's sweet of you! I saw him on the Faith tour in '88 (a great year for concerts, since I saw the Lovesexy tour about 2 months later), which I saw on the 8th row...for free! I was in line, camping out for tickets, and some of my fellow campers started talking about Prince. I mentioned that I had the "Black" album, and they offered to buy my ticket for me if I made them a copy! A truly awesome experience! Many girls tried to bribe me for those tickets, but I took my best friend (one of the other straight, american George Michael fans ).

The second time I saw him was in '91 for the "Cover To Cover" tour. I had nosebleed seats for that one, but I thought the overall show was better. The dude is truly awesome live. I would love to see him again.

Well, at least in America, it seems his male fans are mostly gay. I always take a bit of grief if I mention I like his music. Unfortunately, GM's more mature music never got popular in the states, so he's still pigeonholed as the WHAM! lead singer. "Faith" was a huge hit here, but that was still fairly poppy. "Older" really only caught on in the gay club scene (Fastlove was a big hit in the gay clubs). So, GM is usually thought of these days as a "Gay" artist (i.e. only gays are into him). It's a shame, really. His best music has been ignored in this country.

I'm the rarity when it comes to George Michael fandom in the states. I guess it's not "macho" to like George if you're straight (a notion I find fairly ridiculous, since Elton has lots of straight male fans here). Sad, really. Still, I make no apologies. I think the dude puts out really solid tunes. He's mega talented!

I've never thought that Fastlove could have be a good song for the gays.. coz that song is GOOD!!
And I know Elton got many straight male fans all over the world, so I can't see why GM can't? GM is SOOOOO Talented.. He is about as talented at Prince.. hehe
Anyway the point is that its a shame that there aren't that many GM male-fans..who are't gay..

Well if I was a guy I'd be proud of being a fan of GM, even if people would think I was gay, you should be proud of digging GM's music,.. that means you've got a nice taste of music..
But I suppose you're right, however I didn't believe that that many gay-people are into Cher? or Madonna? I see the point now, but its just weird, I've never seen it from that point of view!

Hell,Madonna is SO loved by the gay community that I'm afraid to wear the T-shirt that I got from the concert....lol...btw,I have many gay friends and I have no problem with that lifestyle.Gays are cool peeps.

LOL- DavidEye I'm in the same boat. Most of my favorite artists appeal to the gay community (Prince, Madonna, Janet, Eurythmics, David Bowie, even Erasure and Pet Shop Boys). I got that slutty sleeveless T for clubbing experiences and I wear it with pride! You are a great enough person that anyone who judges you based on a presumption of your sexuality doesn't deserve your friendship anyway!

well I just saw some pictures of GMs new musicvideo FREEEK, out of those pictures he doens't look gay to me, he have this black (think leather) outfit on with 5 (black leather too) around him, now I havent see the video yet, but honefully I will soon!! I CANT WAIT.. I just dont know when since I know it will be shown in the Uk but not in Denmark poor me!!

Well GM's music is GREAT! even if you have to your t-shirts.. I guess I see the point, would be the same for me if I wore a tshirt that had a femalegay on the shirt.. I know I wouldn't..
