Well D12 just dropped, the best anybody will do the rest of the year is a no.2 Album

Don't be so sure. It's D12, not Eminem. The last D12 album was a dud.

Compared to the current D12 album, the last one was a masterpiece. Sadly this one has very limited lyrical input by Eminem so its not very good. Oh, and shouldn't this topic be in the Non Prince music forum?

You sound shocked by this. I don't know if Prince will hit #1. I just want him to have steady sales. Plenty of singers have 2-3 million in sold copies without being number one but by consistantly being #8. I may not like D12 but I won't be shocked to see them go to #1 and I'm sure they will judging TRL's response with them yesterday. They shouldn't go to #1 but they probably will.

D-12 put out a good pop/rap track. Stuff like that catches on better than whatever that mess Prince put out.

I'm not really worried about anyone topping Prince since it's not about the charts for me. But D12? If Feminem doesn't have much input, I'd say that's the only way their CD has a chance, cause 'My Band' sounds like a Weird Al Yankovic song.

That My Band song is even worse than Jughead!

The album has it's moments..then it falls then has moments..then falls.

Tracks like "Just Like U" (f/ Bizarre on all the vocals) My Band (because it's silly) Bitches (it's aiight) and like 2 or 3 others.. but the rest dont pack a punch, and even sound very different compared 2 the first album which was outrageous and funny, and an interesting listen.

I gave this album about a 61/2 - 7.

I bought the first D-12 cd the first week it dropped back in 2001 and I have to say, Im not compelled to buy this one this time around (and Im from Detroit). They will have to be #1 without me this time.

I LOVE Eminem, but "My Band" is the first song that he's done that I absolutely hate! It sounds like a reject from "The Marshall Mathers LP". A reject because it doesn't have any edge at all.
