ReleaseIt

Graham Central Station

Please toss aside your personal feelings you may have towards Larry Graham for a few moments. Let us talk about his professional career. I happen to think that Graham Central Station was the nastiest and dirtiest funk band of the '70's. A few of my favorites that include Crazychicken, Last Train, Hair, and Turn It Out prove that point. And of course not to forget the mainstream favorites The Jam and Earthquake.
Girl, if U dream I came 2 jerk around U'd better wake up and Release It!
Ain't nobody bad like me.

DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT diss Larry Graham.mad

The man his thumb has more funk in it than all amp + org people together.

His music brings a positive message and his shows are always high NRG shows.

GCS, the baddest groove from east to west!!!

I actually caught GCS on the Sinbad tour with Tina Marie and the mightiest elements or the universe Earth Wind and Fire. GCS tore shit up. And I think Larry is an amazing bass player, but at some Prince shows I've been to he was a bit much for me on the mic. And I wouldn't mind hearing the Sly and the Family Stone songs but damn, they had more than 3 right?? Larry's bass gives me chills, it's so huge and clean and dirty!! His bass solo during the opening set on the JOTY show in Irvine CA.was nothing short of amazing.

Essence

Larry Graham and GCS are great and very slept on by the Prince fans who forever diss him.

Larry's paid his dues.
