Just what is the deal with Jon Stevens? I'd love for him to win, just to make a mockery of the whole thing. But just how did this pathetic country-club Frank Sinatra impersonation get so far in the competition? There are some great singers in that show at the moment, and most of them are black. It is insane that they would get less votes than him. He's one of the weakest voices I've ever heard. The only reason I can think of is racism. Or has he got a cult following somewhere? | |

I have never ever heard anyone say "oh gosh I like that kid" or come to his defense like "aw lay off he's not that bad"... if he has fans, they are in closets, voting every week.

The kid is terrible...me and my partner cringe when he gets up 2 sing..and Simon told him 2 or 3 times...U have no charisma...u r not the best singer on here...u just cant stop with that snapping ... dont dance anymore... Jon Stevens gets under my skin. Everytime someone gets voted off they show his reaction and I automatically scream "You MOTHER FUCKER!"....
Last week was truly hearbreaking to see the 3 best singer at the bottom. There have been many theories made about why this happened. Racism, favortism. My theory is that most of the AI voters are teenage girls. They are going to vote for the boys and to many Jon Stevens is to this group what Clay was to last years (but at lease Clay can sing...this guy is shit). There's also the sympathy vote. He gets panned by the judges so many voters react by voting for him out of pure pity. I've had the opportunity to attend a taping but I dont know what I would do if I had to sit through an elimination and see that bastard survive one more week and seeing someone like Jennifer Hudson/LaToya/Fantasia get voted off. I'd go crazy! Every minute of last night is on my face today.... | |
