A Call to Video Junkies (Non-Prince) While I was in another thread a video came up that I didn't have. If you are a serious music video collector (outside of Prince) then OrgNote me. I would appreciate the effort to discuss.
Artists I am interested in: Sade Grace Jones Tricky Badu Lenny Kravitz LaBelle (the group) Ike & Tina Sly & The Family Stone Miles Davis (60's & 70's) James Brown Neneh Cherry TTD'Arby That's all I can think of for the moment... Peace, Serveitupfrankie* Non-Linear Reality

Did you know there's no effort anywhere to preserve old music videos? A lot of the stuff we remember from the 80s is corroding away as we speak. So treasure all those old tapes you have from MTV back when they actually played music...it might not get much better than that!

Damn. Always record in 2 hour speed, and if you didn't, copy it to another tape in 2hr speed (EP). Or, transfer your old videos to dvd... Thank GOD Duran Duran is about to release their 80s concert and documentary on dvd... *vina does the happy dance* My uncle gave me an enhancer that helps when you make copies of tapes. You don't loose quality, and sometimes you can improve on it a bit.
