"to bring you my love" - it's the most varied, most colorful, most playful of all her albums, and i think it's a good middle ground between her more raw and thrusty old stuff and her artier, more crafted later stuff.

Hate to be anal, but Kamikazee was live drums, not programmed. I don't mind you being anal Well it sounds like a combination of both actually. I understand that there is live drumming but there is a drum loop as well. Go listen 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

i don't have the cd handy, but yeah you're right, there's drum programming at the start, if i recall...i think the rest is live though. there's definitely live playing in it.

I saw her last week here in The Hague. You are in for a great show. It's amazing. The new cd is great although I wish she had included the title track Uh huh her, because ever since the concert I can't get this song out of my head and me wants to hear it again.

that seems to be what a lot of people are saying, that she should have included the title track on the album. she did the same thing with dry....it didn't appear until the "rid of me" album.

i just finished listening to this for the first time today. it's nice...i'm not really excited by it, but i like it a lot more than her last one (which i know a lot of people liked, but hey, what can i say, i didn't). it reminds me a bit of "is this desire?" in that it's fairly subdued, but there's some tooth and gristle to it here and there. probably won't spend a lot of time in my CD player in the future, but it'll be a nice disc to throw on when i wanna read or clean or whatnot. and it's got autoharp in one of the songs. always love that.
