Givin' you more of what you're funkin' for The album Six Degrees of P-Funk: The Best of George Clinton was nominated by the Detroit Music Awards in the category of Outstanding Anthology/Compilation Reissue. The ceremony will take place April 23, 2004 at the State Theater in Detroit, Michigan. 
Q Magazine picks Parliament Funkadelic for its list of 50 Bands that Changed the World in the March 2004 issue. 
Sensational news at MTV.com: "H.L.D.Y.H.T.B.B.Y.A." (How Late Do You Have to Be Before You're Absent), the first P.Funk All-Stars album since 1996's "T.A.P.O.A.F.O.M." (The Awesome Power of a Fully Operational Mothership) is scheduled to be released on GC's label The C Kunspyruhzy in October 2004. In addition to Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell and other P.Funk All-Stars, it will feature guests like Outkast, Busta Rhymes, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Scarface, Too Short, JT Money, Jamal, Tommy Lee, plus the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Anthony Kiedis and Flea. Yep i heard that too....and listen 2 this P-Funk fans can also look forward to the upcoming TV special called "P-Funk Nation Celebration: History of Parliament/Funkadelic and Influences." Both the album and TV special drop in October 2004. Here I am, you lucky people!
