What are the BEST ALBUMS you've bought this year so far?

They have to have come out this year or last year...

For me, it's the following:

Kelis - Tasty
Janet Jackson - Damita Jo
RHCP - The Greatest Hits
Air - Talkie Walkie
Prince - The Chocolate Invasion
Prince - C-NOTE
Prince - Musicology
Juliana Hatfield - Gold Stars: The Best Of

thumbs up! to all of the above!

I don't feel like going through 2003's purchases, but the best of this year, so far for me, are:

Janet, Damita Jo
Prince, Musicology
Usher, Confessions

YES! Get the JH album if you love her. There are EIGHT bonus tracks! it's a wonderful compilation with a lot of material from the unreleased "God's Foot" album.

I've only bought two cds this year:
Stella Soleil-Dirty Little Secret (I love this and don't understand why it wasn't a BIG hit)
And The Mary Jane Girls-Only Four You (I love this too, but it probably doesn't count because I had the LP before this years)
If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.
