Gee, Thanks ClearChannel!

Usher's "Yeah!" remains at No. 1 for the 10th week.
Second single "Burn" has a bullet at No. 3.
Third single "Confessions Part II" enters at No. 48.

This is pathetic disbelief

Anxiety

One of my co-workers said yesterday that on the (Clear Channel owned) station she listens to all the time, they were playin' stuff from Musicology all day...of course, when she turned it on at work, it was just Alicia Keys and that "I Need You Now" song, played over and over in a loop from hell...rolleyes

These are some scary ass times!

Bring back the sell through single and then we'll see how well Usher does!

And usually those are only maxis (I think "Me Against the Music" had a maxi but it probably didn't help much). Strangely though, it seems like it sometimes takes a months after for a song that was a hit to come out on CD single, which doesn't make any sense (or cents). I noticed a werid trend with Interscope where they released the CD single for the 3rd , and least succesful, sinlges from albums. This happened with Pink, Enrique and No Doubt (I think, No Doubt but i do remember the others). And sometimes they will release a CD single for a song that has no impact at all on radio. I remember they released an Usher single (from his album before this one) for a song I didn't recognize at all! The system is so screwed up. Record comapnies should not be surprised when there artists don't sell!

well if you mean now a days it depends what country the import comes from..usually from UK but Australia is the next spot. so it could take awhile cause sometimes its a single there and not anywhere else. and the wait can be a while for the US

and no doubt had cd singles for every single released from there albums. i yeah some are hard to find. smile
