FOLEY is the man. You know Prince is a fan don't you?
You know he tried to recruit Mr. F into his band, right? It's just that FOLEY knows what it is like to be around Prince. Don't get me wrong, Prince aint no FOLEY stalker. But the thing is ...Prince admires FOLEY from afar and it's a likewise. It wouldn't be healthy if FOLEY and Prince were like Prince and Larry or Prince and Beyonce! Also keep in mind, Prince makes opinionated comments about artists all the time... So to put Foley on Blast or to spotlight that it's kind of hypocritical. And it's something I notice in Princeville and Im not telling you how to think or act it's just something to keep in mind. With that said I love that FOLEY is getting attention for his interviews. And I really can't wait til the world hears what he has been hiding in the darkness.

And it's something I notice in Princeville and Im not telling you how to think or act it's just something to keep in mind. you think this is on blast or spotlight? whew that was good... dude, you've been a member long enough to know that this is not on blast just mention Jesse Johnson or Beyonce or MJ or Questlove or even Andre 3000 thesedays..... you already know what on blast is.... nobody's hatin' on Foley...well, at least I'm not. I recognize his talent. And although it seems he's been tucked away in virtual obscurity, I know he's been in prominent bands, and he can hold his own, so no one's begrudging him of that. Joe “Foley” McCreary's alright with Princeville. "Pedro offers you his protection."

My boy thought Donnie and VH were suspect too, but I don't think VH is. And as far as Donnie?....well, I don't know if he's suspect but he's a lush from what I understand. Mochalox broke that down: mochalox said: I got that part. Joe "Foley" McCreary's a older-dude-guitar-playin'-specialist of sorts. Mostly electric and/or lead bass. He is most visible whilst playing for Miles Davis and George Clinton (and takes credit for introducing the two) He appears to be funky, and he's quite liberal in his musical taste. FOLEY was brought to attention at Okayplayer by me.
Ya See in 2000 I made a thread called "Whatever Happened to Foley" Because he made a album in 1993 and then stopped putting out projects. I figured there was a real reason. And I wanted to know. It just so happened that I didn't know by coincidence Angela Nissel who worked at okayplayer, knew FOLEY and showed him the thread. I upped this post so many times until I found out because everybody was giving me rumors. "foley plays in clubs here. " After 200 posts Foley responded what he was up to. He also gave us a link to a site I didn't know existed which was "Smart alec" He also mentioned about upcoming music in the near future. But FOLEY waited it out til he got a partnership with a Digital music label that was on the rise. And in March 2004 he announced it on his site. Sometime a year later in 2001, FOLEY dug up a CDR of a live compilation that was compiled by him from various shows and studio sessions. As a type of sampler and I gave it out to people for Free. This cd went all over the world because surprisingly people were FOLEY fans in the shadows. It also made it's way into the hands of prominent musicians. So I guess what Im saying is, FOLEY...has fans all over the world from his time with Miles and P-funk. And Prince is one of them, he just doesnt make it public.
