My mom used to have a Jimi Hendrix bootleg LP that started off with him screaming "FUCK HER IN THE ASS!!!" and I would play it and laugh and my mom would get mad and say "it's not funny, he's on drugs!!!" and turn it off.

Man, sometimes I wonder if I had a messed-up childhood.

Now that's funny. falloff

My mother is black and my father is white. They divorced couple of months before MJs Bad was released. I was about 15 then and I was living with mum. Her family told her it was already a mistake to marry a white man smile . Anyways she hated the cover of Bad coz of his skin colour and everbody including me believed he wanted to be white! So she told me and my little sister no to ever buy it smile But did we listen??I couldnt resist when I heard way u make me feel so we bought it lol We never played it when my mum was home and was hiding it! Hilarious thread!

I remember my grandma threw out one of my brother's George Clinton albums--I think it was the one with One Nation Under A Groove--seems like there was some cartoon drawing of a nekkid woman. But she wasn't really hip to a lot of music, so she really wasn't paying attention. Besides, we could distract her because we were all studying classical music and listening to jazz and gospel, too. But we really didn't have a lot of "questionable" albums out in the open (KISS, and Prince come to mind). I don't think we could have gotten away with the Ohio Players albums, tho. . .
