Lisa Germano was one of the WORST shows I've ever seen. It was especially painful because you knew who was coming up NEXT. I was standing right against the stage and had to fight the urge to turn off the powerstrip she was plugged into. Then I have my friend singing "Smelly Cat" along with one of Lisa's deep numbers and we couldn't laugh because she was RIGHT in front of us. Painful...painful...painful. It was like suffering through Hell to get to Heaven.

Transvision Vamp at the Oxford Apollo.

At the end of each song Wendy James lit up and sat on the stage to finish her cigarette before starting the next "hit".

A couple of years ago my friend won some Brian Adams tix on a radio contest. We went to make fun of some people there...like I would go up to cute girls and say things like "do you think he's gonna play Born in the USA?"... lol He came out and rocked it as a 3 piece...drums, guitar and Brian Adams on bass...Totally stripped down. After 3 or 4 songs I realized the show was pretty good...as a 3 piece garage rock sound. Later, I checked out Brian Adams greatest hits CD from the library and heard the gross, syrupy production.

I'm not embarrassed to have seen Christina (I love her!), but I am ashamed to have paid to see Justin Timberlake perform.
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.
