Concert Tour Stops......Madonna, Why? Can someone give me some insight or just their opinions on what would be the contributing factors in why a artist would not tour a particular city? Is it based upon the success of the tour in the city on the previous tour, is it album sales in the particular city, etc? What is it?
I ask the quesiton because I am still baffled as to why Madonna did not include a date in a Texas city on this current tour. Texas is the second most populous state in the Country, 3 of the 10 most populous cities are in the state, and to top it all off, she hasn't been to Texas in 15 years. If she has issues with our current presidential administration, surely she can't believe that everyone in the state (especially in the cities) are of the right wing breed. I am really so miffed with her at this point that I can't even stand to listen to her music right now. So once again, I am trying to get a understanding of what are the typical reasons for artists to tour certain cities and not the others. I love Madonna but am not willing to travel to Chicago or Atlanta (the closest cities to Houston or Dallas on this Tour) to see her. Help me calm my nerves. I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

I can only assume that she isn't done annoucning tour dates (I hope not) but I'm not sure if that means she wil play Texas or not.

Unfortunately,I think Madonna IS done announcing dates,at least in the U.S.,and it doesn't look like Texas is on the schedule. That's why I'm glad I live in California...she would never skip our state...lol..
