USHER (WTF!!!!!!!!!!!) IN THE NEW ROLLING STONE USHER EXPLAINS HOW THE RECORD INDUSTRY ISNT'T IN A SLUMP , PEOPLE HAVE JUST BEEN WAITING FOR "REAL MUSIC" TO COME OUT. (I.E- HIS DISC)
IS HE FOR REAL? HE CALLS HIMSELF THE HARDEST WORKING MAN IN SHOWBIZ ON ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT.... I'M NOT TRYNA HATE... I JUST TRULY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO THIS CAT IS AND WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT HIM THAT HE SELLS A MILLION DISCS IN ONE WEEK. I'VE HEARD A FEW TRACKS. I CAN'T TELL HIM APART FROM ANY OTHER NO NAME R&B SINGER.

Yes his album starts off good...then kinda sounds like every other R&B cat out there. Janet's is much more broad and funky.
Usher is nice but he's not really no different than Craig David, Avant, Carl Thomas, Case, Musiq (although Musiq can sing much better).... Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Usher is the Keyshawn Johnson of music: he thinks he's much better than he actually is. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

I CAN'T TELL HIM APART FROM ANY OTHER NO NAME R&B SINGER. 1. Usher is a complete moron. 2. His music is average R&B tripe. 3. He looks and acts like Justin Timberlake (ie. FULL OF HIMSELF!). 4. Prediction: When his star fades he will take up the booze and end up an old alcoholic. His biopic will be called "You NOT a Supastar!" I actually liked usher before the new cd came out. i watched a few interviews in the uk and he is so big headed anyone would think hes some mega super artist but hes just a regular RnB/pop guy who can sometimes dance. I don't like the way Usher somehow assumes that hes superior to justin when its blatent that they are both amatuers wih good writers and producers, in fact in terms of vocal abillities i prefer justin but i think ushers songs are *usually* better written.
I think Usher even referred to himself as a 'Picasso of our time' in one interview, i really hope i heard that wrong lol the new album isn't even all that, he ripped 'the beautifal ones' and didnt even list it as a sample ! I was going to go see him in concert because i like his dancing but his recent interviews have really put me off him, i dont even listen to his music anymore lol

WRITERS AND PRODUCERS. Most artists are just puppets...Usher may tragically fall into that category. Look on his liner notes...who's writing the majority of the songs? It's that way with a lot of artists

Ok...and what instrument does he play?????
Riiiiight! He's just recycling MJ's moves and singing like his grandmama "What if I called you silly names, just like the ones that you call me"

This mofo believes he's truly a great artist! Like, millions and millions of dudes can sing and dance, and a select few are fortunate enough to make a living at it! Usher, man, you got it bad I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Usher's been around way before Justin, while Justin tries to sound like everyone else in the R&B world. So if Justin is that freakin' good to some people, then so is USHER. [This message was edited Tue Apr 13 18:42:50 2004 by Starmist7] the point i was trying to make they are both equally lacking talent in comparison to MJ, I know ushers been out longer but i dont think theres anything that separates him with any other young solo urban dudes including justin, i dont think ushers ripping justin (obviously) i just dont like the fact he thinks hes somehow higher than justin when they are both on the same level.

Usher's good for one thing: being half naked about 33% of the time.
he really needs to do porno before it all goes to waste... "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later, every asshole gets one."
