Eric Clapton - Me and Mr Johnson i just picked this up yesterday and i have to say it's got some really groovy blues on there. it seems Slowhand has been throwing himself into the blues with most of his recent releases, From The Cradle, Ridin' with the King and now this one.
anyone heard it? | |

This is a fantastic CD. It will be interesting to see how the masses take it though, it's NOT for casual blues appreciaters, and it's not exactly what the typical Eric Clapton fan would go for either. But it definitely is worth a listen, and shouldn't be missed.
Afterwards, go get the Robert Johnson originals, and you will really appreciate Eric's fantastic arrangements on these pioneer blues tracks. If I want your opinion, I'll beat it outta ya! | |
