TOTALLY DIGGING Blondie's new Album! Has anyone gotten THE CURSE OF BLONDIE yet? It is so great--even better than their 1999 comeback CD, NO EXIT.
Someof the songs totally recaptures that "Rapture/Heart of Glass" era of their music. The one song that caught me right away was the song "Good Boys." Some will laugh but I swear I hear Madonna singing backup on this track - just the "Good boys...never win" part. I also love "The TIngler" - th eonly song at this point that hasn't caught me is "Golden Rod." THoughts? Let the rain come down...17 days.... | |

I'm listening to it right now for the first time and it's blowing me away. I liked "No Exit", but this one kicks its ass. The sound is old skool Blondie all the way, and La Deb's voice is delicious as always. GET IT NOW!!!! | |

VERY OLD SCHOOL BLONDIE! Are they going to tour in the US for this? It's a great album. I love the cover photos too. GoldenRod is actually one of my favorite tracks off the album lol. | |

I remember I saw it in the ad of a store and thought it ws either another greatest hits collection or they airburshed the hell out of Debbie Herry but it looks like she really lost weight (I saw a clip of them preforming somwhere). | |

It was released last fall overseas. The album title is supposed to be a joke on how much trouble they went through to get this album released. | |
