Im looking for some real funky house style track, in the vain of 'Erotic City', Daft Punk -Around the World, Basement Jax.

Any Suggestions????

My suggestion is to clear a day and get to your nearest wrecka stow.
If not an option...
Truck on over to beatport.com where you can listen to and purchase fresh house music mp3's.
If you want to buy vinyl of the material there, I suggest dancerecords.com for mailorder.

I'm not sure I can recommend stuff that is exactly like basement jaxx (funky) or daft punk (discoy), yet they are both housy. I get what you are saying though about that sound.

Try these 4 (you probably know them already):

Kylie Minogue - Still Standing (princey funky drum machine)
Nerios Dubwork Meets Darryl Pandy - Sunshine And Happiness (sample: Chic - My Forbidden Lover)
Modjo - Lady Hear Me Tonight (sample: Chic - Soup For One)
Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You (sample: Chaka Khan - Fate)

Les Rythmes Digitales album Darkdancer

if you're downloading songs from the album rather than buying go for (hey you) what's that sound, dreamin' and jacques your body for an idea of what it's like. If you like daft punk and basement jaxx you will find this very good.
tell us what you think of it when you have listened

You can type in exactly what type of house you're looking for, and you can listen to the tracks before you can purchase them on vinyl or CD.
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.
