I need help with Ike & Tina Turner

Could somebody recommend some good compilations? I don't have anything by Ike & Tina. Is there a box set? To give you an idea of what I'm looking for I would like to hear more than just their hits. Thank you.

Try and cop a CD edition of their River Deep-Mountain High set (1966) which is an amazing record. Here's a West German pressing, in stereo no less:

Try "Love Sessions", its my FAVE from them.

Sadly, there isn't an ALMOST PERFECT compilation by them. Just when you find a REALLY good compilation, you realize that its missing at least 3 gems.

There is no fantastic Ike & Tina compilation, but there are a few good ones. Most of their early work is public domain, so there are a great many slipshod sets on the loose.

This is probably the best you can do:

http://www.amazon.com/exe...86-3631310

They've also remastered their seminal album Workin' Together, and it can be had pretty cheaply:

That song is "TINA'S WISH" which can be found in the Whats Love Got To Do With It soundtrack.

It was originaly recorded as "TINA'S PRAYER" which can be found ova here:

Thank you for the help guys. Maybe you ought to petition whoever owns their recordings to issue a box set?
