Usher No. 1 For Eighth Week; "Burn" moves 10-5; Beyonce rockets 19-9

Usher continues to dominate Billboard's Hot 100 with "Yeah!" featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris. The single notches an eighth-straight week at No. 1 on the tally. The artist's LaFace/Zomba album "Confessions" holds the same position for a second-straight week on The Billboard 200.

Challenging Usher for the top spot on the Hot 100 is Usher himself, with the second "Confessions" single, "Burn." It's the chart's fastest-growing track at radio and jumps 10-5 this week.

Yet "Burn" isn't the only contender. "I Don't Wanna Know" by Mario Winans featuring Enya and P. Diddy is up 4-3, bringing Winans to a new peak on the Hot 100. In addition, Beyoncé's "Naughty Girl" rockets 19-9 in its fourth week on the chart. This is the fourth radio single from the Destiny's Child member's Columbia solo debut, "Dangerously in Love," to reach the top 10.

Also making notable gains on the Hot 100 are Kanye West's "All Falls Down" featuring Syleena Johnson (18-14), Twista's "Overnight Celebrity" (28-18) and Hoobastank's "The Reason" (31-23). On Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart, "The Reason" enjoys a 2-1 gain, ending Blink-182's two-week run at the top with "I Miss You."

The Hot 100's fastest-growing track at retail this week is Dido's "White Flag," which gains 37-30. The cut is rebounding after peaking earlier at No. 18. Yet, the best-selling single in the U.S. remains Clay Aiken's "Solitaire," which leads the Hot 100 Singles Sales chart for a third-straight week.

Montgomery Gentry's "If You Ever Stop Loving Me" is the Hot 100's top debut, arriving this week at No. 47. Also entering are Carolyn Dawn Johnson's "Simple Life" (No. 79) and Mobb Deep's "Got it Twisted" (No. 99).

"When the Sun Goes Down" from Kenny Chesney and Uncle Kracker leads Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks roundup for the third week in a row. Meanwhile, Tracy Lawrence scores his first top 10 hit in four years as "Paint Me A Birmingham" moves 12-8 on the chart.

=====

Glad to see Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder back in the top 10, via cowriting credits on "Naughty Girl".
