name one song you absolutely HATE I'm eating lunch in a cafe yesterday - they're playing some funk cd, old school stuff, sounds real good until...
"come alooooong & ride on a FANTASTIC VOYAGE!" I literally started counting the minutes until the shit would end & wouldn't you know it - these muthafuckas had the EXTENDED VERSION! I've despised that song all my life - I don't know what it is about it. Maybe it's the lyrics, the delivery, the space suits they used the wear, the way the lead singer's nostrils used to flare like a fucking dragon... I don't know, I just never, ever wanna hear that pantload again in life! Now that I got that out, what song do you absolutely hate w/ a passion?

"This Is How We Do It" by Montell Jordan (1994)---This song just annoys me! Musically,it sounds like one of those lame, late 80s MC Hammer tracks. One of our local oldies radio stations,KISS-FM,plays this song regularly and if they keep it up,I just might have to complain to them seriously, this song sucks!

Anything with Sean Paul in it. Don't know why, but he just pisses me off - he's in every damn song at the moment.

Other songs that I absolutely hate...
*** "Dancing On The Ceiling" by Lionel Ritchie" (1986) ---I really like Lionel, but this song was a low point for him. It's one of the worst, most embarassing songs of the 80s,imo.And that cheesy video?? Yikes! ***almost anything by Celine Dion ---she makes the blandest music I ever heard.I would have more respect for her if she made a raunchy,profanity-filled gangsta rap album ANYTHING would be better than that lifeless, soulless crap that she ususally puts out. *** "Stand Up" by Ludacris (2003) ---is this what hip-hop has evolved into...lame party anthems with nothing to say? "When I move you move...just like that!".How profound! [This message was edited Tue Apr 6 3:13:44 2004 by DavidEye]

Anything that has a wimp, limp or pimp factor...so:
Spandau Ballet (anything) Sixpence None The Richer (There She Goes) Lil'Jon & The Eastside Boyz (Get Low) All for now. More later. This is unsurprising but anything by Busted. Especially "Crash the Wedding".
Their use of feigned accents in their singing, their pre-pubescent bodies and their cliched look and sound. [This message was edited Tue Apr 6 3:52:52 2004 by TheFrog]

***"Exhale (The Shoop Shoop Song)" by Whitney Houston (1995)---This is the theme song to the otherwise excellent movie "Waiting To Exhale".Considering the previous success they've had when collaborating,a Babyface/Whitney pairing should have resulted in a surefire masterpiece. But unfortunately, this track one of Babyface's least inspired songs. The song is pure crap! Wassup with the silly, repetitive and very annoying "shoop,shoop,shoop...shoo bee doo...shoop shoop shoop" chorus?? It's one of the few Whitney songs that makes me change the station when it comes on.
*** "Hell Yeah" by Ginuwine (2002) ---I've noticed a disturbing trend in today's R&B and hip-hop.When you're low on inspiration and don't really have anything meaningful to say, just throw together a catchy phrase, come up with some lame lyrics about hanging out at a club, and voila!...you now have a so-called "party anthem".Other songs that have used this tired strategy include "Stand Up" by Ludacris,"In The Club" by 50 Cent,"Hot In Herre" by Nelly and that new song about "Everybody In The Club Gettin' Tipsy".DON'T THESE GUYS DO ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES HANG OUT IN NIGHTCLUBS?
