Madonna doing duet with Deborah Harry!

From an 80s music mailing list I'm on:

"Madonna is reportedly working with producer William Orbit on a new studio album, also called 're-Invention', which apparently includes a duet with DEBORAH HARRY, 'Got No Class'."

I really don't think that Madonna has seriously started work on her next album yet. She's gonna be touring all summer,so she most likely won't begin a new CD until winter,at the earliest. And it's highly unlikely that she would work with William Orbit again, since she prefers to go in a diffferent direction with each new album.

But I love hearing the crazy rumors that always precede a new Madonna album. After the DWT,there was a big story that Maddy would be making a hard rock album called "Rock Vanity"...lol...

As long as she gets rid of Mirwais, she's milked his sound enough already, it's tired.

I think working with William Orbit again is a big step in the right direction. The stuff she's done with Mirwais bores the crap out of me.

Orbits sound continues to evolve (listen to Pink's "Feel good time") unlike that Mirwais dink (proved on AMerican life). I think working with William Orbit is a good thing...

I didn't like too much the the track that Debbie made with Luscious Jackson (Fantastic Fabulous), I hope this one will be better & I'm tired of the W Orbit sound bring back Nile Rodgers!

For her next CD,I think Maddy should work with more than one producer.I wouldn't mind her working with Orbit again, but not for a whole album.Maybe four or five tracks. As much as I love 'American Life',I can't help but wonder how it might have sounded if she had worked with someone else besides just Mirwais (at an early stage, she considered doing songs with Dr.Dre and Air,and that surely would have given the album a little more variety).

On a Madonna forum,we were discussing producers that Maddy should consider working with.Someone came up with an interesting idea. They said that Madonna should work with her old producers from the 80s (Niles Rodgers,Jellybean Benitez,Patrick Leonard,Stephen Bray and Shep Pettibone). You know, make a "reunion"-type record with these guys,to celebrate her 20 years in the music business. That's an intriguing concept, but Maddy doesn't really like to dwell in the past, which is why I don't believe these new rumors about her working with Orbit again.

Looks like the rumors of a new album are not far-fetched,as several Madonna fansites are racing to be the first to report this exclusive news....

Our reliable sources from the US have informed us that Madonna is already starting work on a new album. She is reportedly collaborating with Patrick Leonard,Joe Henry and Stuart Price (from her band).Mirwais' role on this new album will be very limited as she seems to be on the outs with him.----from the DrownedMadonna fansite.

"She will surprise us once again and always! In fact,we are able to announce to you that Madonna will release a studio album during 2005,and she has already begun to work on it" ---by Thierry from Madonna-electronica.net

lol looks like a new Madonna album is on the way.A summer tour, then a new album early next year.
