Do you like Cocteau Twins?

If so, why?

Believe it or not, I’ve never heard them. I remember Prince once said in an interview that one of his favorite albums was Blue Bell Knoll…

I really like what I've heard of them...a long time ago I had one of their casettes, but have never picked up a CD. They are gorgeous and lush. Nice music to chill to.

Princey played one of their tracks on a radio show broadcast on KMOJ back in 1988....

I loved their "Heaven or Las Vegas" album.

i like them because i can't understand a word they sing, although they are singing in english!
prince reportedly once said that treasure was a great influence on him during the making of parade. and one of their press bios from the heaven or las vegas album claimed prince as a big supporter.

HEAVEN OR LAS VEGAS IS BETTER THAN ANYTHING ON RADIO TODAY OR RELEASED THIS YEAR.

EVERYONE MUST OWN THIS DISC. FOR ME THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE FEELING I GET LISTENING TO THEM.

Im obsessed with the 4AD label and all of the artists on its roster (ask a certain female orger with a fine booty;) ). My favorite Cocteau Twins record in Heaven or Las Vegas. Their music is GREAT to make out to!

Treasure is great, as is HOLV. I have those CT albums, as well as Blue Bell Knoll, on cassette, I don't have any on CD!

A lot of great, if little-known, music by a number of artists came out on the 4AD label.

Somehow I love all they do, esp Elizabeth Frasier.

She's also on Teardrop by Massive Attack and another song on Mezzanine. Teardrop made me cry when I first heard it.

I am such a fool for their music. There is also a nce live double album worth checking out. My fave album is Four Calendar Cafe. It's an album that just transports you. But like voices of Bjork; you either like it or don't.

it's my favorite Cocteau Twins album followed by Treasure.I read once that Prince wanted to work w/ them since he was a big fan & they politely declined.

Haven't listened to Cocteau Twins in ages. Should buy Blue Bell Knoll now that is made available again.
