Looks like there should be a whole forum just for the Janet threads, there's so damn many of them.

And you just started another.

That was my suggestion.

Actually, as much as I love Janet and love to talk about her, I don't really like any of the Janet forums too much. I like the Janet fans here a lot better than most I've met in an actual Janet forum.

I was noticing this as well....in the past few weeks, the top 10 topics up in here have nearly all been Janet threads, or Janet vs Britney or Janet vs Madonna or Janet vs Prince or whatever

Now, I like (well, liked) Janet, but I barely have even posted cos there's so many duplicate threads that I don't know where to begin...

oh well, this too shall pass, judging by the weakness of the new CD, this excitement should die down quite quickly

i was thinking about how there are so many janet threads in the non-prince forum lately, too. many of them end in fights and it's starting to get a little scary up in here. i guess endorphin74 is right, it will pass with time.

The discussions in this forum go in waves. I remember around spring of last year this was the "Madonna" forum around the time of American Life, then later it became the "Outkast" forum around the Speakboxxx/Love Below release, then the "Michael" forum during the latest allegations (and even earlier), now we're in the "Janet" stage. She's currently the thing to talk about right now -- her album just came out and of course, we all know what happened on February 1.

But, on the real, I think some Orgers have a deep seeded dislike for any and all things Janet anyway.
