*both are primarily popular because of their videos, not their music.
*neither plays any instruments
*both have attempted to write songs...
*both are on choreography-overload in their videos...that's not entertaining.
*both use sex to sell their records, sex replaces talent
*both are slipping in sales, even with major company backing.

One big difference I see is that Janet works with some of the best producers
ever, in JJ and TL...together, they found a niche, and it worked for them. (saleswise)
Britney is still looking for her JJ and TL...

3. Britney does play piano... what does Janet play?

4.They both write songs (with help of producers and writers of course), at least they do make an attempt at writing and trying to maintain their star-status. Can you write a song?

5.Choreography is entertaining. Dancing is entertaining. Would you rather go to a concert/show and see someone standing there and singing? no. you are crazy if you think choreography isn't entertaining?!

6.sex sells

7. both are fabricated, and backed up by the record label. So... Prince is too. You know his tour wouldn't sell out as fast as it did without the grammy's and other appearances. The britney concert that I recently went to.... sold out. Britney's record sales are slipping, but not endorsements... she's still racking up more money that janet.... not that that matters of anything.
