Anybody nostalgic for the days of Moonwalker Mike and Air Jordan? I remember as a kid growing up in the early 90's nobody was bigger than the MJs. It was such a great time, waiting for a new MJ video to debut or watching Jordan and the Bulls winning another NBA championship. That kind of magic is missing for today's kids who really don't have such positive role models as how the MJs were to us.
Sure we had our share of embarassingly popular has-beens like MC Hammer, Paula Abdul, Vanilla Ice,etc but it was an innocent time and I miss it...

You may of noticed that I too am missing the innocence that was still around in the early 90's! It was a great time to grow up in! The Arsinio Hall show, Eddie Murphy movies (were still funny), Mc hammer was everywhere, the turtles! Fashions were cool too! Movies and Tv also tried to capture that whole inner city street vibe, you know! Those hood movies,"21 Jump street" tv show, "In living color" (that was was dope on a rope), "Heaven is a playground" "White men cant jump" "Mo' money""New Jack city"! I grew up in places like that! It was a cool time to be young then..... and yes MJ was cool back then too! Everyone my age and older had a copy of "dangerous" blasting out their houses in their neighbourhoods!
Trying to dance like mc Hammer.....now that was when hip-hop was still fun.....damn those were good times to be a kid (like I was) or teenager if you were one! [This message was edited Sat Apr 10 14:12:09 2004 by thesexofit]
