William Hung To Release Debut Album William Hung to Release Debut Album NEW YORK - William Hung, whose spirited version of Ricky Martin (news)'s "She Bangs" got him booted from open auditions for "American Idol," will release his debut album next week. "Inspiration," in stores Tuesday, includes "She Bangs," along with another Martin hit, "Shake Your Bon-Bon," and a cover of Elton John (news)'s "Rocket Man." There's also a bonus DVD. Also on Tuesday, Fuse music network will air a half-hour special, "Idol Worship: The William Hung Story," which includes footage of Hung in the studio as he records tracks for "Inspiration." He'll perform "She Bangs" on NBC's "Tonight" show Thursday and again on the "Today" show Friday, Fuse and Koch Records said. "I get recognized everywhere. And people will go like, `Oh, heh, that's the guy from `American Idol.' I remember you from the TV,'" the 21-year-old civil engineering student told AP Radio recently. Hung said he doesn't intend to stay unpolished. "Oh yeah, that's going to change, of course. I want to get better," he said. Hung plans to take voice training and dance lessons.

i kinda feel sorry for this kid. everybody is laughing at him, i wonder if he realizes it. i guess he probably does.... i hope, anyway. it's like a freak show that people want to pay to watch.... it's embarrassing, really. we live in a sick sad world.
but as long as he understands what the reality is, i guess it's all cool. he's certainly getting paid, so that's nice for him.

I don't get why people are feeling sorry for him, didn't he compete on American Idol knowing full well he couldn't sing competitively, technically he's the American success story. Now it encourage more horrid singers to prostrate themselves for American entertainment.

Oh Kee-rist almighty! More crap to hear on the radio...sheesh. Thank GOD for Prince. Some people may not like the new joint, but hell, it's better than MOST of the junk that's out there now...thank you Purple One!!! "'Prince is crazy' -- I knew what people were saying," he says. "When I became a symbol, all the writers were cracking funnies, but I was the one laughing. I knew I'd be here today, feeling each new album is my first."
