whats the deal between Michael and Prince? mike wanted prince on bad..as a duet...they had the meeting...prince flirted with Latoya...talked about the devil or suttin...cursed michael or woteva...thats wot ive read...

i have got a cd wiv a demo of them both on it.... its not that good quality

Don't know, but Prince has really laid into MJ in the past:
To Whom It May Concern~There are no Kings on this earth, only Prince's. My Name Is Prince is a direct assault on MJ crowning himself (  )
King of Pop Fascination does the same. Now, during the LA concert, he mentions "I ain't NEVER had my nose done" AND What's that he said during his acoustic set...? something about REAL playa's not doing this or that... whatever, i took it as another jab at MJ. Prince has always looked at other musicians as competition, look at THE TIME, I think it rubbed him the wrong way that MJ, not even a musician, labeled himself the KING OF POPULAR MUSIC. Plus, MJ has always been Prince's biggest fan. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

Also, the jab at MJ in Fascination is awesome. I never noticed it until it was mentioned in Liz Jones' book, Purple Reign. If I remember it right, the lyric was: The most vital thing you pop is the epitome of doom/you wake up in a cold sweat 'cause one of them's in your room (child screams in the background)/singin' on the tele/makin' more bucks than sense/so called "King" gives birth to so called "Prince".
