Whatever Happened to Robbie Nevil??? He was at least a TWO-hit wonder, with "C'est La Vie" and "Dominoes", even though both songs sounded almost exactly alike. I bought his album on cassette in a grocery store when I was a teenager and I thought he was The Deal for a while, then I thought he was really embarrassingly lame and I got rid of the tape and now I wish I had it for the '80s kitsch value. What happened to this dude? I mean, he was kind of wussish but I bet he could have beaten up Richard Marx.

Didn't he sing back-up on Silent Night with Stevie Nicks on the Very Special Christmas album?

I remember him. I liked him too. I remember he had a third single called What's it to ya.
In the video it looked like Vanity, but I'm not 100% sure. I haven't seen his vids in ages.

My boyfriend pulled out this OLD tape of dance hits from 1987 and C'est La Vie was on it! We listened to it last night and reminisced. It was SO cool!

Robbie Nevil was HOT ...for a minute. His songs were a nice lite-funk workout.
Debut album- Robbie Nevil 1. Just A Little Closer 2. Dominoes 3. Limousines 4. Back To You 5. C'est La Vie 6. Wot's It To Ya 7. Walk Your Talk 8. Simple Life (Mambo Luv Thang) 9. Neighbor's 10. Look Who's Alone Tonight 2nd album- A Place Like This 1. Somebody Like You 2. Back On Holiday 3. Mary Lou 4. Getting Better 5. Love And Money 6. Love Is Only Love 7. Here I Go Again 8. Holding On 9. Too Soon 10. Can I Count On You 11. Dreams I'll have to listen to them to get a better grasp of the sounds once again but I remember liking the 2nd album alot, especially Back on Holiday, Mary Lou, Getting Better, and Somebody Like You. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
