After 8 years since their debut self-titled release, the band that backed Sade is back, YES!!! The release date comes up as April 6th on Yahoo, but on the Amazon site, the date is not known, but I believe it's this month. I read about the new release in the latest Detail magazine which gave a good review.

Guest vocalists include "Aya, who shares vocal duties with Ivana Santilli (who also plays trumpet), and Byron Stingly (formerly of Chicago House band 10 City), and Mecca Lady Bug who SWEETBACK fans will recall once opened for Sade some time ago as a member of The Digable Planets."

2004 releases are getting a bit better each month. I can't wait to get it.
