Why does Beyonce's Naughty Girl sound like Vanity 6? I noticed that today.

Becoz "Nasty Girl" by VANITY 6 was and always b THE BOMB!!!
Kelis & Andre3000's "Millionaire" is also a carbon copy of Vanity 6's "Drive Me Wild" - early 80s PRINCE/Minneapolis Sound/ElectroFunk is back baby! | |

The song is an outright sample of "Love To Love You Baby". Yes, they share a similar title ("Naughty Girl" and "Nasty Girl") but that's about it.

Maybe it's just the beginning of the chorus that I hear it
Tonight, I'll be your naughty girl. as opposed to Tonight, I'm living in a fantasy. I don't know, I'm certainly not accusing anyone of sounding like someone else. I'm saying that that's what I heard for a few seconds while listening to the song. Who could blame anyone though, for ripping off the Prince sound. A lot of people do. | |

When she did it at the NBA all star game, she mixed it with Nasty Girl...
I spit out my drink, it was a total shock. The week prior, she was on stage with Prince, at the grammy's, so I guess her Princely vibe just kept flowin'. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |
