ANYBODY KNOW WHEN THE NEW (MIGHTY) MOS DEF ABLUM IS GONNA BE RELEASED (UK DATE)? I know the fella's done loads of one off collaboration tracks since (and prior) to the top class 'Black On Both Sides' albums, but I heard a few months ago that there was sumfin' coming out round Feb./March 2004? Any Hip Hop heads out there got any info.? Cheerz "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

I've been wondering the same thing myself.
Maybe, he's shopping for a new record deal since Rawkus is now defunct. I remember reading an article with Talib and he was saying they weren't getting the backing they needed to fianance another Blackstarr album. Hopefully, they'll be able to take the unreleased material they've recorded with Rawkus with them.

Nice 1 mate. I didntt know that about Rawkus. I was wondering about Mos Def's solo project. I definately heard sumfin' was coming out early this year in Feb/March. Man, you'd think a 'genuine' MC like Mos with 'real skool' hip hop lyrics ( not your repetitive "guns, bitches and oh look at me & all my $ & bling bling!" shit) would have no probs getting backing from labels. How come twat heads like Nelly & co. are still in the business. Folk like that have foo'k all lyrical content. I guess more 15 year olds buys records/CDs now-a-days that any one else. ....to all those fake MCs! "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."
