Singer Bobby Brown freed from jail after paying child support March 26, 2004 PEOP0326 Singer Bobby Brown was released from jail Thursday after spending a night behind bars for failing to pay $63,500 in child support. Brown was released from a Dedham, Mass., jail after the Norfolk Probate and Family Court received the money. "I thought it was paid," Brown said as he left. "Things happen like that when other people are dealing with your business," he said. Brown was due back in Family Court on Friday morning.
