Totally Unrestricted! The Millie Jackson Anthology---Who Has It?

I just got that in the mail, I'm already aware of this album and I hear some of it but I didn't own a copy up till now.

Boy, it was a pleasurable experience reading the liner notes. I love it when liner notes writer take their time slowly to talk about the artist's bio/effort in details(I was cracking up hard hearing the story about Millie pre4ming the song Loving Arms live when she got,,,,well lol you have to read it youself).

Its been a long time since I heard my GEMS:

1.A Child Of God-What a debut!
2.Breakaway
3.Hurt So Good-This song moves me 2 tears lol its funny how it was all pretentious.
4.How Do You Feel The Morning After-Same goes with this song even tho she RALTES to this.
5.The Rap-Nuff said.
7.All The Way Lover-MY FUCKIN' JAM lol at the rap segment!
8.This Is It-It was originaly about the president but she changed the lyrics.
9.Phuck U Symphony-lol lol lol lol

Boy, would it be fuckin' cool if they released the "Live & Uncensored" concert in DVD? My aunt used work there at the roxy from 75 to 80 so she witnessed everything in that damn place and she told me that Millie's "Live & Uncensored" was being FILMED and I already knew it was.

She's the truth live,,,I'd sho love to put my hands on that video nod

Harle,I have that 2-CD Millie Jackson set and it is amazing! Millie is one of my favorites and some of her spoken rap segments are just too wild lol The liner notes are very detailed and informative. This is a great place to start if you're a Millie fan,but I recommend getting some of her individual albums too.

I'm also looking for her brilliant 1987 album 'An Imitation Of Love',do you remember that one? It was considered a comeback of sorts for her,and it had two hit singles "Hot Wild Unrestricted Crazy Love" and "Love Is A Dangerous Game".But the last track "I Fell In Love" is my absolute FAVORITE Millie song....she sings the hell out of that song! I have this album on vinyl, but I won't be satisfied until I find it on CD.

Couldn't get his fingers through most of your hair if he want to....as NAPPY as it is" falloff

Be sure to listen to her version of the 1980 Kenny Loggins hit "This Is It".It's on disc two.She does a long, crazy spoken part at the beginning. It's totally outrageous and I nearly died the first time I heard it...

"You do have the winning situation. You are carrying around the almighty "club".We cannot make it without the "club". Can you find a way to bring the "club" with you into the bedroom? ,instead of these wet noodles that should have stayed in the kitchen? "

lol OUCH!!! falloff
