nod The live version on "Get Yer YaYa's Out" is deadly....

I was at the concert when they recorded that album. The line-up was:

BB King
The Ike and Tina Turner Revue
The Rolling Stones

It definitely was a sublime experience.

evil... i hate you so very much... sooo very much...

but on the upside, let me spank a dead monkey one more time and mention that i got to hang out with b.b. king in his dressing room last year... mr.green...

That's cool.

Of course the downside to having been at the above show is that now I'm sooo fucking old that I remember stuff like: AYDS being the name of an over the counter diet pill, when the new model year's cars had fins, and when filtered cigarettes were safe to smoke.

Of course I now sound like those on the org that say, "if you weren't into P by 1982, you missed everything".

Pagey

I love the stones!!!

Exile is the best imo...like SOTT...it has just about every style of music on there. I love double albums for that very fact. Its just raw stones music and other than Tumbling Dice and Happy none of it has been overplayed on the radio.

But, Beggars Banquet, Sticky Fingers, Let It Bleed, & Tatoo You are very close runners up.

Not a big fan of Some Girls...its ok but it just doesn't rock like the others.

I haven't heard that version, but I like the way Charlie speeds up the tempo just a bit at one point in the studio version. He does it (unintentionally) on "Honkey Tonk Woman" too, at the beginning of the second verse.

you have GOT to get "get yer ya's ya's out"... that is the best live album the stones ever put out, and it sounds wonderful now that it's been all remastered... some blistering chuck berry covers and a killer version of "stray cat blues"...

nod You 're gonna want to get that one, Supernova. That live version of "Midnight Rambler " is also on "Hot Rocks"

"Can't You Hear Me Knocking?" woot!

I picked this up, ripped Can't You Hear Me Knockin & Moonlight Mile then sold it back. Wasn't feeling the whole thing (but I'm real picky)...

Beggers Banquet is a good one: Sympathy for the Devil, Street Fighting Man, Stray Cat Blues, Factory Girl, Salt of the Earth - all GREAT nod

and Jigsaw Puzzle!
Oh my, oh my.
