In an attempt to play the older hits,Madonna and her musical director are giving the old songs a face-lift,with new arrangements,some are getting the electronica treatement,while others are going slightly acoustic.They're trying to mix it up and give a fresh edge to old songs.Madonna simply does not want to perform them as they were originally recorded.

Madonna had to fight to get Jamie King to be creative director of this tour.Some people around Madonna were initially unhappy with her choice as they wanted her to go in a completely different creative direction.

Considering many people consider Madonna a whore it seems like a bad choice.
Which may be her intention since she likes to cause a stir to get publicity.

Okay...before this gets out of hand,you should know that Madonna hasn't announced anything regarding this tour.All we have are a bunch of unconfirmed rumors.It's likely that the "Whores of Babylon" name was made up by somebody.I remember back in early 2001,there was a rumor that her tour would be called "The Ghetto Fabulous Tour"...lol...of course,that never happened so don't believe every rumor you hear concerning this tour.


Everything will be officially announced at the end of this month.
