I saw Wyclef Jean on Chappelle tonite. My goodness, what a pretentious bore he can be. How did an above-average MC who essentially hit it big with a novelty single come to think that he was Marley? Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

He does act like he can walk on water. I laugh when I think about a show he did here and how he threw a tantrem when we weren't giving it up like 'he thought' we should be, stopped the show and shit.
Maybe, it was because we weren't feelin' you Wyclef!!

Yeah, it was REALLY REALLY REALLY cool. Sometimes I really wonder about people's taste. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

Yeah, it was REALLY REALLY REALLY cool. Sometimes I really wonder about people's taste. I watched it 3 times The only other performance I've watched that many times (more actually) was Mos Def in the car during the first season. I forget the song but shit was tight

'Clef is capable of great things, particularly as an MC, but his ego has outgrown his talent. vive la difference, playa. Mos', Black Star's, and De La's were the standouts. 'Clef's didn't do it for me. When he gets in that wannabe-Marley mode I tune him out completely. And oh . . . De La's performance in Season 1 was SICK. [This message was edited Sun Mar 21 20:58:30 2004 by namepeace] Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

The performance was terrible. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "
