Damita Jo Samplers!

http://jjlive.cjb.net/

Under the media section of http://jjlive.cjb.net/ , there are portions of "Thinkin' Bout My Ex", "Spending Time With You", "All Night", and "Damita Jo". Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to listen to them yet because I'm at work, but I thought I'd share it with you guys.

I read some fan's comments on it at the Janet-Xone forum, but they're a bunch of assholes who are saying things like "this is the best album ever", though they've only heard little clips of it. I know I may be a biased Janet fan, but they're too much! They claim it to be better than The Velvet Rope and Rhythm Nation. disbelief

Who knows? Maybe it will be?

If they are still essentially pre-judging it before actually hearing it (these clips would hardly count) then it's safe to say they are probably just wildly (insanely?) excited with anticipation. nutty

I'm not listening to the samples. I'm waiting until March 30 to listen to the full album. I like being surprised.

I normally do, but I've had the worst weekend of my life and I'm so depressed that I need to listen to the samples when I can get a chance.

They are all good! Janet is thrown down some serious R&B and dance! Beyonce. you've been warned! I don't care how this album does, I think I'm going to love it! All the songs have a good old school feel. "All Night" is the song Justin Timberlake wished he would have done! I'm going camp out at Meijer and wait for the album to be released! Who is with me?

not impressed.

This will be her worst cd to date.

Jermaine Dupri will do for her whatt P. Diddy did for Mary J's last cd (remember Love @ 1st site? neither does anyone else)

Sink like a ship

sorry

How ironic, because I don't believe JD produced anything on the disc.

It's fine to have an opinion, but know what you're talking about before you put your two cents in to criticize. Jermaine Dupri hasn't worked with Janet at all on this album.

I also like the fact that it is her worst album based on two songs and a few samples. I really like it but I would not predict that it will be her best or worst.

Right now I'm listening to the Megamix '04. I'm getting my Janet fix today!

I'm sorry, I have not seen the writing and producing credits for every track on Damita Jo, but I guess you have. Please give me the run down.

Im waiting untill the release to listen, i learnt from so many other albums (including janet) that samples really dont do justice to a song or they over hype it or by the time its released your sick of it. but i want you sounds great and love me for a little while has really grown on me recently.

ok, so i've heard i want you, just a little while and damita jo in their entirety and i've heard pieces of sexhibition, strawberry bounce, thinkin' about my ex, truly, and all night. six of them are great tracks. the other two are good but i haven't heard enough to make a decent assessment. all i an say is that i'm even more excited about the cd now!

and damita jo NEEDS to be a single/video!!!
