Old school salute to Colonel Abrams

The first Colonel Abrams song I remember was "Trapped." (Remember the video? and that stiff-ass shimmy-like dance he did?) "I'm Not Gonna Let You" was pretty hot too. I think my favorite is "Speculation." Takes me back to my clubbin' days (Silver Shadow, Bentley's). biggrin I saw him on 34th St. in Manhattan once. Wonder what the Colonel is up to these days?

That's all I remember about the Colonel and that no one would let him live down the voice comparison to Teddy Pendergrass.

I just thought he wasa cheap rip-off from Steve Hurley of Jm silk smile but he was a House Music Pioneer as well smile Trapped,u get the best of me...he did some stuff for Strictly rhythm,
