The new NERD song is amazing

Song of the year, so far. This is the kind of rock/funk song Prince used to do well. Too bad Pharell beat him to it.

See, those guys do play instruments. Great guitar on this cut. A bomb, indeed.

???

are you tryin to get a rise out of people?

anyway. 'she wants to move' doesn't do much for me. the other songs i've heard are growing on me. 'fly or die' is okay. 'don't worry about it' is hot! others are 'maybe' (live version is cool) and 'break out' (that one's alright too). the songs haven't hit me like the 'in search of..' material did.. yet. can't wait for the album though.
don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine
purple music does the same to my brain
i'm high, so high

Musicology is better. I was expecting something "amazing" like groundbreaking, but just like other peeps said, it's better than alot of shit out right now. Aint all that though. Ima still cop that LP when it come out.

Oh and again, it sounds nothing like Prince, Musicology is more catchier than it.

this probably would be one of the weakest trax on "In Search Of.." because most of that album was single material. This here is so-so ho hum. I dont even remember what it sounds like since i DL it yesterday.

Well, I just caught them on SNL...thankfully, i missed the first song,
but caught their second one.
They really need to stay behind the scenes...Pharell (?) has no stage
presence, no voice and no moves...but he can program drum beats, so
let him do that.
They had 7-8 people on stage yet their music sounded like it was coming
from my AM handheld radio in my bathroom.
I'm not a fan.

Really? I thought it was nothing special. Never thought NERD was as good as people were saying they were. It's an interesting project, for something that gets as much mainstream attention but that's all.

Jeez? It took U ppl this long 2 realise?

I have a lot of respect 4 PHARREAL. He programs his Drums like he was really playing them and that takes discipline.

"She wants 2 Move" is definitely a cowboy-rider of a song! Imagine bonin a girl doggystyle 2 this....

"She wants 2 move but your doggin' her!"
"Look at your girl... she loves it.... I can see it in her eyes she... hope it lasts 4ever"!!!

HELL YEAH!

Mad Props 2 N.E.R.D!
