70s R&B Tune of the Moment: "Shakey Ground" by The Temptations (1975) First of the Temptation's post Norman Whitfield productions.
The story goes that the musicians on this cut included original Funkadelic bassman William Nelson, Melvin "Wah Wah" Ragin and another Funkadelic alumni guitarist Eddie Hazel.

I've always wondered who the original song was by... I've heard two covers of this song only, but never the original. One of the covers was by Fishbone, who did a good job of it. | |
