Chaka Khan topic I notice that when she peroforms, Chaka genereally sing the same 3 songs; AINT NOBODY,TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD and SWEET THING. Homegril could deliever a HOT pre4mance but I'm so sick of hearing the same ol' same tracklist: Tell Me Something Good I Feel 4 U(The ball & the chain according to her lol) Ain't Nobody Whatcha Gonna do 4 Me I'm Every Woman Sweet Thang My Funny Valintine I'm A Woman(at least, lately) Some cover song Here's my WISH-tracklist Once You Get Started Papilon Sleep On It Fool's Paradise Pack'd My Bags Move Me No Mountain I'm On The Right Street(But The Wrong Direction) Night Moods Its My Party Caught In The Act Egyption Song Close the gig with a new or cover song With re-arranged renditions! Of course that would be out of the ?uestion cuz non of these songs are HITs

As 4 the Signature Diva:Live At he Roxy? Its really cool, I love it. But the pre4mance is incomplete cuz I've seen the original tracklist(the pre4mance is half hour) but I highly suggest you to check out this DVD 4 the included interview from Chaka & her mother, Sandra. Also, I know u said u have seen Chaka a number of times. Have u ever seen her during the CHAKA KHAN(1982) period. if so, can u tell me about the performance. What did she sing? Saw Chaka Khan (my all-time favorite female vocalist) as Rufus featuring Chaka Khan around 1977 at the Roxy in Hollywood. She blew the roof off the place, but in retrospect I am sure she was either quite high or quite a character. She kept complaining about the lights being too bright in her eyes. Also, although she was lean and mean then, the writing was on the wall for her future physique as she walked from the stage directly on top of the adjacent tables my friends and I were sitting at and she ate some of my French fries in the middle of the performance! Must of had the munchies.
The set list I would most like to hear would include: Sweet Thing Once You Get Started Dance Wit Me Ain't Nobody Hollywood At Midnight Tell Me Something Good Everlasting Love Through the Fire Tearin' It Up Sticky Wicked Spoon Pack'd My Bags Everybody Has an Aura You Got the Love I'm a Woman Maybe Your Baby Slow Dancin' I'll Never Be Another Fool If you've got funk, you've got style. | |

Garden, I was born in 1982 lol so ain't no chance 4 me to check her out in that year. BTW The interview is 30 minutes long so yeah I guess you could say the WHOLE DVD is 1 hour(devided by the interview & the pre4mance). Does anybody have her "Chaka! Through The Fire" book yet? | |
