Bonus Super 70's Soul Track Of The Day...Weekend Edition...Al Green-Look What You Done For Me(1972) Time for a little 70's Memphis Soul. This one might be my all-time favorite Al Green song. Eveything you love about Al can be found on this song. Love those musicans Al used on his records. The horn riffs punctuates the song very nicely and of course you have the one and only legendary drummer Al Jackson Jr.(from the legendary soul/r&b group Booker T And The MGs) on the skins. This is great music that will still hit hard 50 years from now. This one is from his 1972 album Still In Love With You.
Enjoy, Brother 9/15 | |
