i just wanted 2 comment on song number 7 on seal's new album "4" cause i love it so much....i 1st heard it in the background in the movie "a man apart", then when i heard it on the album i was pleasantly surprised that it was seal himself.... any1n else heard this goregeous track???

Yeah, it is a beautiful, refreshing song.

I really love this whole album. I've been a Seal fan to some extent, in that I used to listen to Crazy and Don't Cry taped off the radio nonstop when I was 11 and 12, but I never listened to the rest of the first two albums.

I got Human Being in 99 and I've been listening to it off and on over the years, appreciating it more now than before, of course, just cuz I've gotten older and my taste in music is no longer single-driven.

But the new Seal album blows me away from start to finish. It's satisfying in it's length, yet it's reasonably compact so it doesn't trail off and lose you. It's unified by a main "sound", yet at the same time every track is different. I don't think I've heard an album this well-balanced since Counting Crows "Hard Candy". Plus, though there about six singles in the world off this release, the music is still sincere and it really doesn't sound like he tried desperately to get back into the game. He's just doing his own thing, as every artist should.

"Touch" is one of my favorites on the album, my all-time being "Heavenly" and runner-up "Where There's Gold"

This is a good topic as I have mad respect for Seal, I was not aware, however, that he was behind the production and arrangements on his albums. I always thought that he provided the lyrics and allowed studio producers to handle the arrangements.

Anyhow, gonna have to take a listen to his new cd as I have yet to hear it.

i like the last seal album but it's not my favorite by any means. this one has some beautiful arrangements i'll agree but i don't play this as much as the other three albums. i love the track which was used in the film a man apart though. if you all love seal, you should check out jeffrey gaines & david ryan harris. both are highly recommended!!!
