my dad, he used to play this all the time, the melody on this song is just wonderful and touching,just the melody alone makes ya eyes well up a bit.

Hey MAN!!! This song reminds of my DAD too. My father bought 2 copies of this 45 r.p.m...and used to wear these records out..It was on that Cotillion Records label....The song was even more significant because we lived in Georgia.....and when it was raining outside and my father played it....the song had that much more impact....Ole Brook had a great smooth mellow voice.

Great pick Finess...you picked a great 70's soul classic here....
