A question for Househead about Liberty City. I am NOT talking about the boy band Liberty City, I'm talking about a house act by that name. They had a song called "Some Lovin", my question is, did they do another club hit? There is a certain song that I believe is them but I can never find out the title or who does it?
If anybody knows if the had another club hit and what the title is, please let me know. I've been looking for this song for probably 10 years..... 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

-sos can i get a kiss from you if i find it? If it isn't them, it has to be my the MURK crew because it sounded kinda similar with a great bassline. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

aight..here it is.
I finally dug up my Murk-The Singles Collection.. First let me point out that I was thinking of "Why Waste Your Time" this whole time when you asked this question....thats the album i have on cassette..and i am not about to hunt through my record collection to find out what band that was... Liberty City's other hit was "If You Really Want Someone" which sounds very similiar to "Some Lovin".. and all this time i though mastersatwork were the same as murk who now go under funky green dogs..or so they did...but nope, they are two different entities....oy vie!! you gotta get the Murk singles disc just so you can hear Bobby Pruit scream in a jamacian accent; "come on ju see!! you gotta lick the backside!!" Murk Records was founded by Rob Di Sefano, who then founded Tribal UK and Tribal America, then changed it to "Twisted" basically alot of Murk's Material was Mixed by either Deep Dish Or Danny Tennaglia. [This message was edited Mon Mar 8 11:23:04 2004 by TheRealFiness]
