somebody told me that Meg is Jacks ex wife but i thought they were brother and sister...I looked all over the net for this info, cant find it, can anyone tell me?

I asked Meg once and she started poking me with her drumsticks.....

They have the same last name, right? But, haven't they denied being brother and sister? When I first them, I thought they looked related not married.

Not a stupid question at all actually... kind of an interesting dynamic between them.... actually they WERE married.

Obviously since divorced, but were a band before they got married and have stayed a band after... pretty cool.... he is now apparently VERY involved with..(drumroll please) Renee Zelleweger.

Initially, they claimed to be brother and sister, until a reporter dug up the fact that they used to be married. Understandable that you would have been confused.

As I understand it, the official version is that they are brother and sister and that the topic is not to be discussed.

However, like the Jedimaster says, the truth was outted and everyone accepts the alternative version of events, ie. that they are a divorced couple. It's certainly the line that all the media have accepted.

Now why did Jack beat up Jason from the Von Bondies? That's what I want to know.

the fight between them (if you can call it that, when only 1 fought) has been brewing for awhile. they have actually fought before, although not nearly as serious. have you seen the pix? Jason is a bloody/swolen mess & Jack has only a few cuts on his hands where he hit Jas.

the feud basically stems from Jack producing the VB's 1st album, and then later, Jason said in interviews that Jack really didn't have that much to do with the album or its critical acclaim.

of course, Jack disagrees...and 1 thing leads to another.

version 2 to the story (....ahhhh the detroit soap opera continues) claims that the dispute is also strengthened between the 2 because Jack used to date 1 of the chicks in the bondies & she has now been linked romanticaly to Jason.

rumors have been pretty a'plenty here in the D for the last couple years that Jack has quite a temper and has actually been in several fights with members of other local acts-
but no-one wants to come forward because The Stripes have done so much for the D-troit scene & tons of acts are "riding on their coat-tails."

no-one wants to piss off Jack and perhaps ruin their chance at The Stripes assisting their careers at some point.

Megs last name is White, Jacks last name isn´t White. He took it from her. It´s not a secret, though.
