BillyCorgan.com

Has anyone been reading this? Billy Corgan has been posting a series of entries since the beginning of this year. He's not rattling off cryptic messages, but rather being very down to earth, talking about things day to day.

Some very cool stuff, he even goes into detail about what really caused the pumpkins to break up...

From "The More The Merrier" (1943)

Benjamin Dingle: There are two kinds of people - those who don't do what they want to do so they write down in a diary about what they haven't done and those who are too busy to write about it 'cause they're out doing it!

Nice site, though.

It would be cool for him to form another band and do some good music again.

.....and not destroying the band after their first release this time!

It's an interesting site! I've had fun reading his commentary about his first solo album, and the fact that some people have told him that it won't truly be his first solo release.

I don't know what kind of record wil do this time, but I'll give it a try biggrin

Shit, Billy doesn't need a band...he should put out a wrecka his dang self.

Thanks for the heads-up, Tom...I haven't checked there in ages and didn't know he was writing!! I'm delirious.

Well Zwan was a shit band with shit music. He needs to go a bit deeper. A collaberation with Trent or Maynard would be hot.

Not a huge Corgan fan myself but I'm glad to hear that he's actually doing music again. I'd heard he was doing poetry readings and crap like that.

Glad to hear he's working on new music. I was quite intrigued by his entries about the Pumkin's breakup. Now we know why D'Arcy was fired (and it really wans't all that surprising), and the actual reason the band ended. I'm glad that Billy and Jimmy didn't continue to use the name with the other two members gone. That would have been so lame!

I have been reading these since day one. Can't wait till the album drops. I bet the acoustic stuff will be pretty as always. He's releasing a set of songs about Chicago originally it was going to be called the Chicago E.P, or so it was rumored.
