Maroon 5

Maroon 5's "Songs About Jane" is probably one of the best cd's I've heard in years. Every song is very unique and have great hooks. Their lead singer has without a doubt been influenced by Stevie Wonder, especially on the track "Sweetest Goodbye". I don't remember the last time I bought a cd and loved every song on it.

I posted about them way back when. I'm glad more people are catching on smile http://www.prince.org/msg...sg_1283936

I wonder where those people are who said they would be a one-hit wonder with HTB...hmm... wink

I love them too. Last cd I liked that much was FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE's Welcome Interstate Managers, which is also an amazing cd. 2003 was just a great year for new music!!! The tide turned.

I'm going to get this Maroon 5 cd. They just have a good sound to them from what I've heard, so far.

Fountains of Wayne have been around for abit....why were they nominated for "best new artist"? same think happened to Portishead a few years back. One of my best friends is the drummer for the lead guitarist from Fountains of Wayne's band called The Astrojet.

Just thought I'd post something confusing.
