Poplock jam of the second: The Jets - Crush On You Crush On You The Jets Written by Jerry Knight & Aaron Zigman From LP "The Jets" ::clapping hands and poppin' (jammin' with flourescent wristbands)::::: Chorus How did you know 'Cause I never told You found out I got a crush on you No more charades My heart's been displayed You found out I got a crush on you You must have heard it from my best friend She's always talkin' when she should be listenin' Can't keep a secret to save her life But still I trusted her with all I felt inside I never knew a rumor could spread so fast 'Cause now the word is out all over town That I'm longing for you chorus Maybe I was the one who left the trace Was there a message written on my face? Were mt emotions so easily read That you would know my thoughts before a word was said Was it my eyes That let you know you had control Because the way you move was so self-assured You knew I would surrender chorus Instrumental bridge Ahhhhh-hhhhhahhhhh-ahhhhh! (x2) :::dancin':::: chorus repeat to fade[i]

I saw The Jets perform this at the MN State Fair Talent Show. They won first place. I loved the song “Make It Real.” Those Mormons could sing. Or so I thought when I was 11. "She made me glad to be a man"

One of the best first verses ever written
I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

I was a huge Jets fan. One of my first concerts I attended was The Jets and Stacey Q.
"Make it Real" was the jam as well. "Curiosity" always reminded me of Prince. They had a weekly gig back in the late 90's in Phoenix when I was living there and I saw them there a couple of times...it was pretty fun. Every minute of last night is on my face today....

In March 1986,I went to a concert that featured these three acts...
Ready For The World Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick The Jets And let me tell you,The Jets stole the show! They came out first, singing "Private Number" (remember that jam?) and they rocked. The single "Crush On You" had just been released and you could tell it would soon become a big hit.It was outrageously catchy and fun. And when they released "You Got It All" as a single, folks went crazy.Even my mother went out and bought that single.

I liked this song in 80s- it wasn't a hit there , I forgot it now I will try to find it on Kazaa to make my brother know it

I like this track and the Jets! However, my favorite is definitely "Curiosity."

A little trivia about the Jets...
***The video for their 1987 hit "I Do You" was filmed at Paisley Park ***Prince offered them a song "Neon Telephone" for their second album, but they turned it down. ***Their 1987 hit "Rocket 2 U" was originally offered to a reunited Earth Wind and Fire. It's a great song, but it's hard to imagine Maurice White singing those bubblegum lyrics

Okay, I don't know if you can call this "trivia" but the redhead (bottom, left) who reminds me of Harpo Marx was adopted.
